What is enthusiasm?
The word "Enthusiasm" can be used as an interjection, representing an excess of courage and strength. Example: "You need to keep your spirits up to solve your problems". Etymologically, the word 'Enthusiasm" originates from the Latin animus, which means "soul", "courage" or "mind".
What does the Bible say about enthusiasm?
It's not always easy to be of good cheer or enthusiasm, because in life things will always happen that discourage us. Being discouraged is normal at times, but we cannot live a life discouraged, because that is not God's will for us.
We have to learn to fight against everything that prevents us from living the life God intended. This means that even when we are discouraged, we have to seek the face of the Lord, we cannot give up.
If you have accepted Jesus in your heart, you already have the best reason to be excited and happy: He conquered the greatest victory for you on the cross! There is no longer condemnation in your life and eternity in heaven is already assured!
" I have said this to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world" John 16:33.
What is double mind?
Double mind: man who acts in two ways, is to act as spiritual and at the same time as carnal.
Doubleness: double-minded, hypocritical, falsehood.
"For that person must not suppose that a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways, will receive anything from the Lord" James 1:7-8.
The apostle Paul also went through sufferings and needs and was discouraged. But, in Jesus, he found that he could endure all these things and come out victorious! If you love Jesus, you too can endure anything, with courage and hope for greater glory.
Look to God in difficult times and he will give you courage to keep on going.

Then the people answered and said, Far be it from us forsaking the Lord to serve other gods: for the Lord is our God; it is he who brought us and our fathers up out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and who performed these great signs in our eyes, and preserved us in all the way that we went, and among all peoples. through which we passed. And the Lord drove out from before us all these people, even the Amorites, who dwelt in the land. We also will serve the LORD, for he is our God.
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When evildoers assail me, uttering slanders against me, my adversaries and foes, they shall stumble and fall. Though a host encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident.
Wait thou for the LORD; cheer up, and strengthen your heart; wait therefore for the LORD.
But the salvation of the righteous comes from the LORD; he is your strength in the time of trouble.
In the day that I called, you answered; you encouraged me, strengthening my soul. All the kings of the earth will praise you, O Lord, when they hear the words from your mouth
For I know the plans that I am devising for you , saith the Lord; plans of peace, not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
For I long to see you, that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may be strengthened; that is, that I might be comforted together with you by the mutual faith of you and mine.
2 Corinthians 4:16
Therefore we faint not; but even though our outer man is wasting away, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.
Considering this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
1 Thessalonians 3:7
Therefore, brethren, in all our need and tribulation we were comforted concerning you through your faith.
