Habakkuk 2:4

Habakkuk 2:4
  • When every situation in our present life presents a negative picture - FAILURES and LOSS or when the natural reaction is COMPLAINT OR GRIEF - this is the time to put our faith in God and in his Word. IN THIS WAY WE CAN SEE WITH GOD'S EYES, THE GLORIOUS END. This brings worship and praise even before our situations have changed.
  1. DETERMINE TO PRAISE, worship and thank God for his faithfulness, NO MATTER HOW DIFFICULT THE CIRCUMSTANCES ARE.
  2. LOOK WITH THE EYES OF FAITH TO GOD'S PLAN FOR THE FUTURE.
  • Though the fig tree do not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD, I WILL joy IN THE GOD OF MY SALVATION. God, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like hinds' feet, he makes me tread upon my high places Habakkuk 3:17-19.
